Mark W. Petro is a career insurance agent and has actively held his insurance license since 1995, when he began working with seniors in Pittsburgh and their Medicare insurance and Long Term Care planning needs. From 1998 through 1999 Mark gained extensive knowledge and career experience serving in the back office of a high volume life insurance agency in Pittsburgh, where he learned field underwriting and life policy issuance processes, as well as gaining knowledge of advanced estate planning strategies. Mark’s financial services career path evolved into full-service financial advisory in 2001 when he obtained his securities licenses and served time as a Financial Advisor with UBS PaineWebber in Erie, PA. In 2002 Mark established Lakeland Investor Services, Inc., a wealth advisory, financial planning, and investment management firm located in Conneaut Lake, PA, and has served as the firm’s President since that time. Throughout the "lost decade" which marked the beginning of the new century, Mark has helped his client families patiently navigate the investment climate of the global markets with great care and conviction. Mark brings a multi-disciplined approach to wealth advisory, financial planning and investment management services that grew out of his many years of client service, advanced training, and "in-the-line-of-fire" real life advisory experiences. Mark holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
In his leisure time, Mark enjoys cottage-style gardening and home culinary experiences with his wife, Soevihati, he enjoys golfing, and he’s a life-long fan of Pittsburgh’s professional sports teams. Mark is a family man, the father of three daughters; Galyn, Helen, and Janelle, and he is a man of Christian faith.
